Flavor Profile: Sweet with very light pungency and a thick consistency. Tasting notes of raisins, plum, and some smoothness from Oak Barrels.
Food Pairings/ Use: Paired with any fine cheese or fruit.
To be used in all dishes including salads, filet mignon, seafood dishes, grilled vegetables, certain desserts, vanilla ice cream, gelato and many more. Great for salad dressings and marinades.

I am a long time user of Ariston’s Balsamic Vinegar and find it to be as fine a balsamic as I have sampled. It makes an excellent salad dressing when combined with a high quality olive oil and some seasoning. It is hard to find in my local stores but easy to order on line and I have never had a problem with shipping.

I used to buy this at a local supermarket. When it was sold to Stop & Shop, they stopped carrying it. It is slightly sweet, though not at all sugary, and very flavorful. Tastes, in fact, like wine.

I have been purchasing this particular designed bottle of balsamic vinegar. The vinegar is wonderful for use in salads. But there is a second benefit. The bottles are recycled and used as decanters for dried flower petals and are sold at our local garden club boutique to benefit the club’s civic gardening programs. What a great bonus!
